How to create a national hero
The U.S. offered Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy an offer to evacuate from Ukraine.
His response:
"The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride."

He is a hero to Ukraine and they are continuing to fight harder than the Russian soldiers who are shooting at Russian speaking Ukrainians. . I can’t help but cheer for the Ukraine people to resist even though it does look hopeless.
I truly hope this Leader doesn't wind up murdered by Putins Thugs. I also wonder why I see so many posts about Ukraine being a Fascist State, and then I try to th think if any U.S. Politician ,of any stripe who would have the courage to stay with the people who elected him while being threatened by potentially overwhelming military hostile forces.
It sounds like President Zelenskyy wasn’t particularly popular, but first he stood up to Trump and now Putin, even at the risk of his own life. By standing up to authoritarian bullies, he’s become an inspiration.

I hope we send him all the ammo he can use.
Apparently Zelensky is able to fight without being bothered by bone spurs.
This is leadership.
