One may make you laugh, and vote for John Fetterman.
First this one. If you were watching TV back in 1979, you will have seen this ad. "Mean" Joe Greene was a star Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle.

This week Pennsylvanians are seeing this ad by John Fetterman. I am not sure this ad helps Fetterman get elected. Possibly it does. It is a reminder to Pennsylvanians that Fetterman is one of them, sharing history and roots with Pittsburgh sports icon. And like Joe Greene, able to play hurt.

In this context, “mean” doesn’t mean what you think it means. Mean Joe/John is nice to kids and has a smile for them despite the pain. If you are familiar with spiral dynamics, you might think of the mean Green meme (see “Boomeritis”).

Let's see...For one thing, they didn't mount an armed attack against the U.S. Capitol. They aren't threatening election officials. Unlike Trump, they don't call our free press "the enemy of the people." I could go on but suffice it to say that calling Trump a jack-off is a polite understatement.
