Trump and Epstein. The issue is not going away.

Trump biographer Michael Wolff to Jeffrey Epstein:

"How do you know all this?"

Epstein reply:

"I was Donald's closest friend for 10 years."

Michael Wolff says he has 100 hours of tape recordings with Jeffrey Epstein. Wolff quotes Epstein relating stories of that friendship. It includes a story of Trump taking a woman to the Egyptian Room of an Atlantic City casino. Epstein said Trump emerged, saying "‘It was great. The only thing I really like to do is f--- the wives of my best friends. That is just the best.'"  Epstein describes Trump as a sexual scoundrel and predator.

There is a lot of smoke. Trump is covering up the smoke, which makes it look like there is fire. Why so ham-handed a coverup? Even Republican MAGA people think it looks weird, which is why Fox News barely covers it.

When You're A Star

It’s occurred to me that short of video evidence or a confession, it will be impossible to know with absolute certainty why Trump, after promising to release the Epstein investigation records, has now refused to make them public. No matter how credible witness testimony may be, and even if there are many accusers, his denials will shield him. The denials will be enough for those who choose to believe him when he says he knew nothing of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s crimes.

So we have to be content with circumstantial evidence. Let’s run over it again:
1 -- “When you’re a star they let you do anything” - Trump 2005
2 -- cheated on his wives - Karen McDougal affair
3 -- dressing room peeping at teen pageant
4 -- Stacey Williams groping incident
5 -- 27 other allegations of sexual harassment and/or assault
6  -- E. Jean Carroll jury finding of guilty of sexual abuse and defamation
7 -- Stormy Daniels payoff to hide affair
8 -- “Likes them on the younger side” - reference to Epstein
9 -- 15-year Epstein social relationship with Trump
10 -- “my best friend for 10 years” - Epstein statement
11 -- calendar girl pageant in 1991
12  --The Birthday Card to Epstein (WSJ story)
13 -- “theft” of girl from Mar-A-Lago
14 -- offered reporters a list of Epstein associates
15 -- Ghislaine Maxwell prison transfer - hints at a pardon

These facts, among others, suggest what we know is the tip of an iceberg; a decades long story of associations, business and social, with Epstein at the center. It’s not hard to believe that he cultivated relationships with wealthy and powerful people for cover. The entire story is rife with mystery, and if you choose to delve into it, you find many more questions than answers. For instance, why didn’t the Biden administration address the issue? The speculation is that Democrats were involved, and this allowed Republicans to use it against them. One has to wonder why such charged allegations, against both Democrats and Republicans, weren't made and answered. It looks like a political calculation that the truth is so terrible that taking the heat for hiding it would cause less damage to one or more party.

During Trump’s first term, Epstein was arrested for the second time.

In August 2019, after Epstein's death, Trump retweeted a post that alleged Bill Clinton was connected to Epstein's death.

When asked about his retweet in an interview, Trump said "What we're saying is we want an investigation. I want a full investigation, and that's what I absolutely am demanding. That's what our attorney general -- our great attorney general -- is doing." The attorney general at the time was Bill Barr.

Pressed further on if he really believed the Clintons were involved, Trump didn't shut it down.

"I have no idea," he said, but encouraged further questions. Trump said on ABC News:

So you have to ask: Did Bill Clinton go to the island? That's the question. If you find that out, you're going to know a lot.
(Coincidentally, Bill Barr’s father was headmaster at the school where Epstein taught in the 70s. However, like so many aspects of this story there is uncertainty about whether they knew each other.)

The question raised here is: If Trump was willing to make these statements, where is the investigation? And now, we see stonewalling and distractions, so much so that now, even if the documents are made public, there is reasonable doubt that they will have been scrubbed, and therefore useless.

The definition of circumstantial evidence is: "A jury can convict a defendant based solely on circumstantial evidence. Circumstantial evidence, while not directly proving guilt, can be used to infer guilt if it leads a jury to conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime.”

If I were on a jury, and in a way we all are in the court of public opinion, I would convict. Would you?

“Lock him up!”

The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Seems pretty obvious Trump has been a sexual predator all his life to me. Americans didn’t care that he sexually assaulted a woman, but sexually assaulting a 14 - 15 year old might cross the moral lines for some. Even in prison some would disapprove.

The Carroll jury found Trump liable for sexual assault, as opposed to "guilty". From what I've read, that's the difference between a finding that more likely than not it happened, and a finding that beyond a reasonable doubt it happened.

Concerning personal knowledge of the Epstein/Maxwell crimes, it appears that the list of circumstantial evidence against both Trump and Clinton (plus Prince Andrew!) is substantially similar. Would the Democrats here convict both?

Unfortunately, the majority of the Cult does not seem to care what he does or did to women and girls. He is on record saying lewd things about his own daughter. To them, he is their best chance of restoring White "Christian" Patriarchy in the US.

However, even MTG has stated that the Republican Party mistreats women. She is very unhappy with the GOP these days and is not keeping quiet about it.. Google for more information.

What Democrats and unhappy Independents can do is get organized and stop supporting extremist and unpopular positions, such as gender-identity ideology. In fact, there is a group called DIAG: Democrats for an Informed Approach to Gender. The website is
Di-ag.org

As a former Democrat, I damn well would vote to convict Trump, Bill Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, and Prince Andrew.

Protecting Bill Clinton has cost the Democrats so much credibility on women's issues, for decades. Paula Jones was sexually harassed by Bill Clinton and the party that fights against sexual harassment should have dropped him, for good. The modern Democratic party showed no appetite for pursuing justice for Epstein's victims because it's been clear Clinton was guilty since the scandal broke.

Epstein is a bi-partisan scandal, a story of abuse by The Establishment. A litany of corruption and blackmail at the highest levels. I don't expect to ever know the full reality.

Clinton was impeached for covering up sexual misconduct, while Democrats' original sin was supporting him despite the evidence. The die was cast. When Trump’s sexual crimes were reframed as harassment, just as Clinton's supporters defended him. Now, MAGA supporters echo this defense, labeling the criticism as hypocrisy. Trump has cleverly framed all his criminal allegations as a witch hunt, and his followers believe him—period.

I have been wanting to say this for a few weeks now but,
Finally.. yes! something we can all agree upon.
Release all of the Epstein files!!!

Admit it. Don't you all feel a little MAGA now? hmmm??

Donald Trump has been calling for the release of the Epstein files since 2015. In fact Donald Trump is one of the first people on the political stage calling for the release of these files.

Is there any question on the Right as to Donald Trump's affiliation with Jeffrey Epstein? none at all. It is public record.

Is there any question that Jeffrey Epstein was invited to the Clinton White House at least 14 times?
None at all. It's public record.

I will say that Trump was wrong about Bill Clinton allegedly being connected to Epstein's execution... I mean, sorry, "suicide", it was Hillary.

There is certainly a big ""?"" as to why none of this information came out during the Obama and Biden administrations.
""While uncorroborated...""
There seems to be hundreds of politicians (Democrat Republican, numerous foreign dignitaries, and all squishies in between ...Bill Gates, ...Stephen Hawking.... for crying out loud) and Hollywood actors (George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Anon Anon Anon...) that have gone to Epstein's Island, just to ...hang out by the pool🤔.
There is nothing more grotesque than seeing George Soros in a pair of swim trunks.

What do the CIA, MI6, and Mossad know about any of this?

I can assure you the entire MAGA base is furious that none of us comes out.

What none of you understand ....because none of you are really that serious about looking into this... is that the person who is intentionally dragging her feet is Pam Bondi.
One serious mistake that Trump has not learned from his first administration is hiring deep state actors.
In particular, the poison pill Chief of staff Susie Wiles, who did everything in her power to make sure that Matt Gaetz was removed from nomination. Thus giving us Pam Bondi who gets her orders from... you guessed, it Susie Wiles.

""While uncorroborated...""
We can almost rest assured that the Obama administration, under the guise of the Biden administration (Obama's unofficial third term) definitely screwed around with these files to make Donald Trump look even worse than is clearly corroborated by any facts.
... You do all know what "facts" are, don't you? I rarely see any in any of these posts.

MAGA applauds and encourages your enthusiasm, albeit misguided. Continue to bumble blindly into your own demise. We are loving every minute of it.

If Donald Trump is found guilty of any crimes associated with Epstein, circumstantial or otherwise, then we Americans will remove him from office and JD Vance will be our president. We're all perfectly fine with that.

NOTE: circumstantial uncorroborated evidence is the only reason why Donald Trump was found guilty in any of the actions taken against him ....including Russian collusion 😘

Or was it all just an "innocent" cesspool of sex trafficking and pedophilia.... and I am still talking about Epstein's Island ...not Washington DC.

Anybody up for a ""slice of pizza""? I know just the place...

Here is a video of Michael Wolff stating that he doesn't need to corroborate his sources, because, you know, ....they're all liars

Neil Goldschmidt. At least he admitted what he did. He was never locked up, though. Ayla is right about the corrosive effect on the Democratic Party and the United States as a whole from protecting Bill Clinton ("Vast rightwing conspiracy," the Democrats said.) L.D.: If the evidence warrants prosecution of both Clinton and Trump, then prosecute both. I voted twice for Bill Clinton and, in 2016, I voted for Hillary Clinton.

If the best thing the Democrats have against Trump is Epstein, they are in very big trouble.

Actually, they have a coup attempt against him, but Republicans don't care. We'll see how they like his tariffs once they finally figure out who's paying for them.

MT, Raping children is a horrible, heinous act that destroys lives. You are not alone in thinking that it's not a big deal; in a recent survey, 48% of Trump supporters said that if Trump were found guilty of child rape they would still support him. I believe Trump's association with Epstein and the obvious outcome of that is the worst thing that has come out about him. Anyone who believes otherwise is just as immoral and disgusting as he is.
