This is not a test. The virus is spreading rapidly.
What had been, presumably, a low risk activity has become much higher risk.
So you went to the grocery store. You were in and out. People gave each other space. Yeah, there were some people walking around with their noses exposed, and there was some jostling at the produce area. It was ok. After all, hardly anyone had the virus anyway, so it was mostly just precaution.
Not anymore. Lots more people have it and, probably, lots more people just got it and don't know it yet. When things go viral one person infects two people who each infect two more (4), who infect two more (8). It is compound interest of the wrong kind.
